Hebrews 9: 11-14.

(11)But Christ Being come an High priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle,not made with hands,that is to say,not of this building;

(12) Neither by the blood of goats and calves,but by his own BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place,having obtained eternal redemption for us.

(13 ) For is the BLOOD of  bulls and goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkeling the unclean,sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

(14) How much more shall the BLOOD  of Christ,who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Paul said there in the eleventh verse, " By a greater and more perfect tabernacle,"he was speaking of the body of Jesus, he was sinless and perfect, he went on to say "not of this building," He was letting them know that this natural temple you see wasn't perfect even though God had commanded them to build it.Even though they worshipped there it wasn't perfect, why wasn't it perfect ? Because it was built by man.But Jesus didn't come by the will of men as John said in  st.John chapter one verse thirteen, " which were born,not of blood,nor of the will of the flesh,nor of the will of man,BUT OF GOD."

He went on in verse twelve of Hebrews nine to say,"Neither by the blood of goats and calves,"he wasn't bringing some carnal earthly blood from some animal or some offering man could offer up to God to save himself,there is no offering in this life or price we could ever offer to God that would be good enough to save us, that is why Paul continued on and said," But by his own BLOOD,....", BY HIS OWN BLOOD!!!! He offered his own BLOOD, it was pure BLOOD,or sinless, perfect, it wasn't of this world it was Holy BLOOD  it had the power to do what tens of thousnads of Gallons of animal blood could never do,it did more then just cover a sin up for one year like the blood of animals did, it didn't just cover it up it totally removed it!!!!

The BLOOD of Jesus destroyed the Yoke off of people's necks, it transformes a person's life completly!! It sets a bound soul completly free!!  that's why a sinner that has been bound for fourty years with a bondage can come to the BLOOD and in a matter of a few minutes have fourty years worth of Bondage destroyed instantly!!! That's the power of the BLOOD of Jesus!!

Paul continued to say," He entered in once into the holy place, having OBTAINED ETERNAL REDEMPTION FOR US!!"In other words it doesn't have an expiration date on it, it doesn't wear out on you, you don't have to renew the subscrition every year.The only way you have to renew it is if you break the contract with him by returning to your old life and sins, if you do that you must repent and come back to the blood reapply it to your life, do your first works over but if you stay in the blood and live for Jesus, then it doesn't run out it doesn't expire!!

God doesn't decide to save you today and throw you away tomorrow, he said it was eternal,that means forever PRAISE GOD!!!!! He went in once because that was the only sacrifice he was ever going to offer, his own BLOOD his own BODY and from that point on that would be the only sacrifice God would ever except.No salvation in anything else.

He went on in verse  thirteen to say," if the BLOOD of goats and bulls and the ashes of an heifer,sprikeling the unclean,sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh,"and that was only a year by year thing, every year they had to come back and offer sacrifices for their sins, it wasn't an eternal salution to the problem of sin.It was like putting a temperary patch on a leak, it was only a temperary salution,just to hold them over until the perfect sacrifice came.

But thank God in verse fourteen,Paul said, "HOW MUCH MORE,....."What a powerful phrase that is, HOW MUCH MORE,....If the blood of some animal could sanctify for a year and that's just pertaining to the flesh, all that done was kept the Judgment of God from falling on the people, but it never cleansed the inner man, it never removed sin, but if  the blood of some earthly animal could do that then HOW MUCH MORE,......How much more can the BLOOD of the very Lamb of God given by the will of God not made by men, How much more can the BLOOD OF JESUS DO!!!!!!

It can and will go further then the blood of some animal could ever go, it goes beyond the cleansing of the flesh, or all the formalities that was put on Isriel  the variouse washings they had to go through to be clean, all the practices they had to do couldn't do what the BLOOD OF JESUS COULD DO, It went to the very core of a man's soul and finds every ounce of sin there and totally destroys it, removes it out of your life it cleanses to the uttermost!!!!!!

It drives out all the old bondages that have held a person's soul captive,any old demon powers that have taken control it drives them out!!!! It does a complete work in a man's soul and life, THANK GOD HOW MUCH MORE !!!!!!

Paul continued on saying," How much more shall the BLOOD  of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God,purge your conscience from dead works to serve the LIVING GOD."He didn't say the BLOOD of an animal, or the BLOOD  of someone else,...there are alot of people out there who have done great things,who have said great things,but that is as far as they can go,but Jesus went further he shed his own BLOOD AND BOUGHT OUR FREEDOM FROM SIN!!!! set us free from the power of it,and gave us eternal life,

NO ONE ELSE CAN DO THAT!!!!

" Who through the eternal spirit offered himself ," When nothing else could save man from a devil's hell he did it willingly.He offered himself in our place as a sin offering.When the entire human race was about to face an eternal death sentance he stepped in!!!!

" Without spot," No sin, No Blemish,No inperfection,"Purge your conscience from dead works."

 What dead works? It goes back to all the  things they had to do to be justified, Washing of pots, the offering blood,etc,etc... All those things they were commanded to do that never really  saved them.Trying to save themselves but the problem is nothing can save you except the blood of Jesus.Should we live Godly and Holy ?  Absolutly we should live holy seperated lives, the bible tells us that without holiness no man shall see God.But never  trust in that alone to do the work that only the blood of Jesus can do, when do you live Holy, is it when your still  a sinner? No it's once the BLOOD saves you and changes your life,then you begain to live a different life, now the life you live once your saved  determins if you stay saved or not, you can't go back to the old life you were living Jesus saved you from that life not in that life, there is a difference if he had saved you in that life, then you could just go back to sinning, but see that defeats the whole purpose of salvation, thats like giving someone strictnine, to drink to counteract strictnine, that's not going to work.So he doesn't save you in your sins he saves you FROM your sins, that means he saves you from that life, you can't keep living that life.So should we live Holy? Absolutly, but we should never confuse that with the work of the BLOOD because the BLOOD is what makes it possible for you to be saved and then to live the life of God.If our ability and man's own power could save us, then Jesus would have never come, there wouldn't have been a need for him but nothing could do it but the BLOOD of Jesus!!!!

Today I am so very Thankful for the BLOOD of Jesus it saves to the uttermost, It heals of every sickness and disease,it delivers us from the powers of Darkness, it keeps us in troubled times.Where would we be without the blood of Jesus?? On a one way street to HELL,BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHANGES OUR DESTINATION THANK GOD!!!
