PHILIPPINES MY NATIVE LAND. One of the cause of Philippines delima starts with The Marcos regime. It created a 20 years set-back that affected the growth of the country. Their administration breed greed. Dissatisfaction on so many young people on those days prompted so many to join the NPA. (Cant blame them). One of the solution of Marcos was to advertised the trades and skill of Filipino professional to foreign countries. The country of Iran during the time of Shah was one of those countries that hired hundreds if not thousands of filipino professionals (OFW). The result? it affected the family structure of so many filipino families. Absence of a father in a family was common. Children grew fatherless. Children's up-bringing was unbalanced. The effect of separation between husband & wife takes its toll. Unfaithfulness gain ascendancy. So many families were broken. Dont you know that Jesus preached against adulteries & fornication? He did it because He upholds the family structure. Dont you know that Jesus preached against Herodians in His times? They are the corrupt politicians during that time. Because Jesus cares for the poor & the herodians combined with the Pharisees (Hypocrites) were so against Him as he preached about righteousnes. Jesus said "The love of money is the root of Evil." The "kurakot" of the marcos, estrada regime is unprecedented in all Philippines politics. I blamed them of the problems the Filipino people facing today.
First World Philippines is just around the corner if all filipinos (including politicians) goes back to the basic. Uphold their family structure. Honesty in all things should be practiced. And we will see The Great Nation Philippines be great again. - By Nene Tiangha
